Presentation of Credentials

I got these photos from Jerson (who got it from his boss who happened to pass by yesterday morning when the welcome parade was ongoing). I felt so proud seeing a representative of our country being feted with pomp and ceremony, dressed in our traditional pina cloth with the Philippine flag raised in the background. Hahay, nakakaiyak!

I didn't know that this is the official procedure for visiting dignitaries otherwise I would have gone to watch the parade too!
