Let's Paint the Town Red!!!!

Day 1 (7th March 2008)

Alleluia! The room is neat, cool, and smells good. It is spacious and the bathroom is spotless clean. Tapos on top of that meron pa syang Wifi in the room, all for the price of U$9.

I checked the map from my LP guide book, we are just 2 blocks away from the famous “Pub Street”. We are famished to death. Sobrang gutom na talaga kasi imagine we did not have anything after the 7am breakfast we’ve had at the airport in BKK. The hotel has an attached restaurant serving local Khmer dishes. We immediately ordered Fried Pork with Rice. As in super sarap sya!

Okay, let’s go hit the pubs now….

First stop is of course the famous “Red Piano”, where Angelina Jolie and her Tomb Raider tv crew hang out when they were filming the movie. While sipping our white wines (we did not order the Angelina Jolie cocktail as in masyado ng halata ang pagka-turista ever!), we heard an unmistakably Pinoy voice from the neighboring bar, In Touch, we transferred immediately (mga usyosera talaga!) and yes, the singer is Pinay, her name is Rochelle. After a few drinks, she invited us to come back on Sunday kasi dadalhin nya kami to a Pinoy birthday celebration.

Thanks Rochelle for a true Pinoy hospitality!!!
