In Review: Hilton Colombo
Since this trip is only for a couple of days, we decided to splurge a little bit and stay in 5-star / 4-star hotels only --- and yeah, to soften up the trip or make it luxurious for Langga otherwise he might complain the whole time! HeheheHilton Colombo is located in the main business district, right next door to the Colombo World Trade Center and is part of the Colombo 03 district (the city of Colombo is divided into different districts, for instance, the shopping areas are located in Colombo 04 and 05 while the embassy row is located in Colombo 07). The hotel is connected by a walkway to the WTC, and even the swimming pool is on the other side of the walkway! We just keep on looking at it from our room window! hahaha....from the hectic shopping sked, no way that we can take time off to lounge in the pool.
The room space is quite okay although a bit small for triple sharing (we requested for an additional bed for Langga!), well, its supposed to be maximum 2 adults occupancy.... we have stretched the rules a little bit already so no complaints, eh?
Don't you just love collecting hotel toiletries??? I am so used to doing this...hehehe....I think I got this from my parents (especially my mom who will even take the tissue! eeww! lol).
Their Front Office team is really great. Very professional.... especially the one who handled our check-in (Gands help me with this one coz I forgot his name!), he was superb! He really tried to make our check-in as stress-free as possible.
The hotel lobby made me nostalgic about Christmas at home. "Everywhere there's an air of Christmas". I harassed Langga into posing with me at the gigantic tree in the lobby....hehehe don't we look like honeymooners now? Lol...he was really complaining against it, as it would ruin his "gender image".
From what I can deduce of the breakfast buffet, their restaurants are excellent! Or maybe it is my pork-deprived self talking...hehe
Despite the short stay, we loved the time spent at the Hilton and would love to go back there again, right Langga? :)

But the food in Spoons Resto were fantastic. We had steaks and finished it off with cheesecake and wine. It was delicious!
Pero wala pa ring tatalo sa Spices resto nila kase ganda ng view tapos buffet pa. One to sawa ang bacon sa breakfast. LOL!
Lol..as in may I dala pa rin talaga ako ng 2pc ko Neng kahit masikip na sya!
To Josiet:
Honestly Neng, we were too poor to try all the F&B outlets sa hotel! hahaha...But the Japanese resto we tried in Odel has an outlet in Hilton also.
