Day 1: Tres Mujeres (part 2)

One of the things we were looking forward to is --- disco. After our exhausting shopping trip around Colombo, we rested for a couple of hours (to placate Langga also as he was complaining that we were paying for an expensive room which we are not using! He does have a point there, eh?) and went down again looking for the discotheque but alas, its closed for renovation!

Still we asked the concierge if he can recommend another place coz we were really itching to go to a disco (and I thought we looked so chika with our costumes until Langga pointed out that we looked like we are auditioning for the "banda"! hahaha)and so off we went to the nearby Galadari hotel . We were told that the Tramps Nightclub is the best place in town (formerly Colombo 2000).

The place is dead…..only a few tables were occupied and no one is dancing! Maybe coz it’s a Thursday night (and it’s not Male so there is work the following day!). At the stroke of twelve, we danced....hahaha...we must be that desperate!

The music is also bad, or maybe we caught the Classics night? All I heard were Michael Jackson songs interspersed with some cheesy circa 80’s R&B tunes. Anyways, at least we can reminisce about the songs that we grew up with…..hahaha!

Understandably, we went off early and went back to our hotel. Langga got his wish and immediately snuggled to sleep. While me and Ganda continued with our “outfitations” (checking of the outfits that we bought earlier! Lol).

Ok ciao! See you in Nuwara Eliya tomorrow…..
