The Road Home.....

3^rd September 2008. Home is where the heart is, and my heart certainly belongs to a tiny municipality in the province of Surigao del Sur. It’s really a long journey home. From the more than 8 hours Male-Singapore-Cebu flight via SQ then another 12-14hrs boat ride via Cokaliong Shipping, the last leg of the journey involves a painful (as in ang sakit sa katawan!) bus trip from Surigao City to our town of Madrid for another 3.5hrs.

But what a scenery! Ooopsss…..hinto muna! I know I am biased but whenever I see these views I just felt lucky for being able to call it my home. Passing through the Novinta mountain range, you get to see these amazing landscapes!

It's like going to the bowels of the earth, ain't it??
