Partying at the Lion City

We proceeded on to the Lion City after our Bali odyssey --- party time continues!

This time around only the hard core singletons were left, meaning it’s only me, Ganda and Pedz who were still in the game, so to speak! Lol…. We were in total holiday mode.

We literally had to crawl into bed when we arrived in Singapore. The partying in Bali was definitely taking it’s toll on our poor hapless bodies. But “when the night comes” (I can’t remember the title of that song eh?), after shots of Absolut vodka we again went with my sister’s friends to Chijmes, a historic building which was earlier (would you believe??) a Catholic convent. The convent complex has now been restored into restaurants, shops, and a function hall.

The following night we went to the newly refurbished Clarke Quay, with its plethora of funky and hip bars and restaurants. Can you imagine sitting on a wheelchair while sipping your pina colada? Ain’t that cool? Every bar has a different theme.

I really had a great time! Hmm, it bodes well for my future relocation plans……

Although we’ve all been to Singapore a few times in the past, there are still a few places that need to be discovered. Well, on previous visits, our usual route was only Orchard Road – Bugis Junction! Hahaha

A big thanks to Sheena also for the discount card at Boomerang bar! Dining out or partying in Singapore is really expensive, good to have friends who will give you discounts eh?

We also got a Starbucks treat from our kababayan, Hyren. Salamat dai, hope to see you again soon! (p.s. my face is soooo oily!!!! Johnson's face powder, pleeezzz! lol)Thanks guys! Till the next visit…..or maybe, till my relocation (albeit, temporary!)…..fingers crossed!
