Melbourne: Sampling the dumplings in Chinatown

The good thing about Tune Hotel Melbourne is the location --- it is smack right in the middle of everything. Either just a walk away, or a short hop on the tram, you can get to wherever.

I mentally went through my checklist ---- city tour - done / shopping - done / Chinatown - next stop.

I cannot leave Melbourne without visiting its Chinatown, especially when we passed by that colourful arch during our city tour the previous day. I need to gorge on the steamed dumplings, sample all the different dimsums, prawn, beef, pork.....you name it, I'm going to eat it all. Hahahaha

It was still a bit early, most of the restaurants were still closed. I forgot the name of the restaurant (starts off with something with a Dragon hehehe) coz we immediately dived into the menu. We were immediately served with a pot of steaming hot Oolong tea in those tiny cups that you can finish off in one gulp. Then they bring in the food carts, you can just point the items you want and they will put it in your table.

Dimsum heaven!!!

We roamed for a bit around Chinatown then ventured farther into Bourke Street Mall, with its big shopping malls (Myers, etc) and grafitti-filled alleyways.
Feeling ko nasa Hongkong ako hahahaha
